Why Wax?
Why wouldn’t you 😊 In all seriousness waxing is great, it helps your hair to grow through much finer and slower, some people say it
makes them feel cleaner, smoother for much longer and leaves no irritation or shavers rash
Will it hurt?
THE question that every new person asks is the hardest to answer as everyone has a different pain threshold. The simple answer
is yes it may hurt a little unfortunately BUT I do everything I can to make it as pain free as possible and I promise in time it will get
much easier and quicker. Shaved hair is strong and tougher, consistent waxing over time thins the hair making it much sparser
this is why I can assure you it gets easier the more you are waxed
I am on my Period?
That really does not matter to me, come clean wearing a tampon or a menstrual cup and I just continue as usual
What if I am pregnant, can I still be waxed?
Yes, you can still be waxed while pregnant from your first day of finding out, to your due date. It may be more uncomfortable,
especially in your first trimester, but I will do everything I can to ease the discomfort and will allow more time, especially in the later stages
How Long does my hair need to be?
Ideally, we want at least a grain of rice length, preferably at least 3 weeks from shaving or waxing, ideally 4 weeks. Hairs have
three different stages of growth which is why at the beginning you could be waxed but still feel prickles on the skin. We want to
remove ALL hair, which is why we recommend the length of hair and the continuation of the waxing treatment every 4 weeks
so we can get the hair in the same stages at the same time to last the longest in waxing. Yes, it’s a pain
growing it out, but it is totally worth it!
How long will it last?
You have to trust the process, and to get the longest results continue waxing with zero shaving in between. You should
see minimal growth for approx. 3 weeks, and some can go much longer and then a noticeable growth amount after. To start
getting the longest smooth time, then you need to have at least 2-3 waxes in that time, and like I said trust the process!
Can I wax in between appointments?
In short, NO I strongly recommend you do not shave. Waxing is a journey, a process that slows down your hair growth and
leaves the hair finer. Shaving in between can strengthen the hair back up rewinding all the hard work
